A crossover uniqueness, for one — from performance to parts to its ruggedly stylish exterior.

Enhanced technology and parts. Consider what’s under the hood: The all-new Outback is powered by a redesigned FB25 Boxer engine to give drivers a smoother ride over different terrains. It also has improved environment-friendly features such as the Engine Control Unit (ECU) in the 3.6L model. To improve power and fuel economy, the tumbler generation valve (TGV) was repositioned and the intake port shape redesigned to balance efficiency throughout the rev range.

A ruggedly handsome exterior. A bolder and more rugged shape, bigger tyres and muscular fenders give the all-new Outback a distinct crossover look, while expressive body panels give it plus points for quality and class. The vehicle also has a sleeker appearance that improves airflow over the rear, thus reducing wind resistance. This contributes to reduced fuel consumption at high speeds.

Elegant interiors. The rugged-but-luxurious exterior is matched by interior features such as a dual-dial gauge cluster with a three-dimensional feel and a triple-spoke steering wheel with multifunction switches. Interior materials have been carefully selected to achieve a high level of quality.

More Enhancements
In addition to Subaru’s unique Symmetrical AWD system, the all-new Outback is equipped with X-MODE, capable of enhancing driving performance on poor roads through optimised integrated control of engine, four-wheel drive, braking, and other functions on slippery surfaces.
